About M.E. Owen

M.E. Owen writes science fiction, fantasy, crime, often in the same story. Her short work has appeared in Boundary Shock QuarterlyFireside Fiction, Abyss & Apex, Fiction RiverFlash Fiction Online, plus more.

She’s currently working on the sequel to her debut novel, Survival Instincts, which features an ex-cop stranded on a gritty colony world (and parasitic juvenile aliens).

She lives on the wet side of Washington state, and when not writing, she kayaks, bikes, plays with transportation geodatabases, and occasionally throws knives (not all at once, but that would be cool).

M.E., being the first granddaughter on both sides of the family, got named after a long line of women who disliked their names. Kiddies, don’t do that to your kiddies. This is why M.E. answers to Lisa.
